This specimen has been specially prepared so that the internal structure can be seen while the outer tissues remain translucent! These type of specimens take a great deal of time and effort to prepare, but are totally worth it!

This specimen will be shipped as pictured, in a vial with solution. The solution is a special mix of glycerin preservative. When it arrives in the mail, there may be tiny air bubbles dispersed in the fluid (may appear slightly cloudy) from being shaken around in the mail. Simply set the entire vial on a flat surface after unpacking it, and the bubbles will rise to the top and the solution will become very clear as it is in the photos.
